WHY WON'T MY DOG EAT?

I had the same problem with my dog. When we first got him he wouldn't touch any of the food unless i hand-fed it too him. A couple of weeks ped and he got more used to his surrounding and starting eating a little. I found if you leave the food for ten minutes then take it away and do the same everything night then eventually he'll eat it when he realises that soon you're going to take it away from him again. 2005 Hyundai Tucson V6 stalling?

About 2 weeks ago the car just shut off in the McD drive through after about 30 mins of highway driving. Tonight on highway it almost felt like it would stall while going 60 mph. Two mins later in traffic back up when I was down to just cruising with foot on/off brake it died again. Once put in park it has started right up again both times. Temp is ok, no check engine light coming on. Any idea what may be causing this? If not, is it something the dealer should easily detect if hooked up to diagnostic equip?

Yes, I was forced to take piano lessons while my mates were out male bonding, playing football and chasing girls, so I sympathise. I have one under the stairs I never play. I would take it up if you want to. I don't know what yu will gain. personally, I would learn an orchestral instrument. After escaping the piano I played br for years, met loads of people, drank heavily before concerts and made lots of cash. Try the oboe. It is disappearing so you will get into any orchestra and it is easier to carry around than a trombone or tuba.

Can I reduce suction line down to 3/8" with an adapter?

Am installing a mini-split HV AC. Line set flare fittings call for 1/4" liquid line and 3/8" gas (suction) line, but was sent 1/4" and 1/2" respectively. So, I purchased two 3/8" to 1/2" adapters to use on ends of suction line. I have been told this might void the mfg warranty and reduce efficiency. I don't see why, as it is a larger than called for line and I am merely 'reducing' it to the called for 3/8", Shouldn't it only cost me the price of the freon to fill up the larger line? Also, the line set requires a 50' length instead of the usual 25' or 15'.

Now Ive been trying to get a nice solid john mayer tone but its not quite right. I think im close but not there yet. Riding In The Moonlight?

I know what you mean - I've had some profoundly beautiful night riding experiences, especially in the winter with a light snow falling (sigh....). That said, I can also see the owner's side of the issue. Boarding is an extremely high risk venture anyway, and the potential for a lawsuit is greatly increased if he or she knowingly allows you to ride after dark when(umedly), nobody is around to help if - God forbid - something goes wrong. And that is the real danger - the reality that if you do have an unfortunate accident late in the evening when everybody else has gone home - nobody will be around to save you. I don't know what type of barn this is(?) but another factor that may or may not be relevent here is that taking your horse out that late may be disruptive to the other horses in the barn. If they are all just docile saddle horses that have no real mission for the next day and don't get stirred up when you and your horse go out to play - it's probably ok. But if there are race or show horses who are on a strict work, diet and sleep schedule, and/or are on the hot side and may be getting worked up and digging up their stalls when you are there, that could be a consideration. If you think this other gal may be riding at night why don't you talk to her and see if you could coordinate your rides, or at least ask her how she got permission to do so. It may be that you can sign a special release absolving the barn owner of any blame if she allows you to continue your moonlight rides, but I wouldn't count on it. No matter how many signs they post or papers you sign - barn owners are still ultimately, legally responsible if there's a serious accident on their property. You may say that you would never sue them but the reality is that your insurance company can and would go after them if anything really terrible(and expensive) ever happened to you. Just by allowing you on their place they ume a huge chunk of liability. That's probably what this is all about. Your other alternative would be to seek out a different barn that has lights and is set up for night riding. Good luck Night Rider!

So trade Harden, with Burrell, and Mauer, because he is way overrated, and Helton for someone like Ryan Doumit, a underrated C who is a very nice pick-up at C, pick him if he is availible, Garrett Atkins, who can play 1B, and Delmon Young, or someone like that. Package what you get between struggling hitters who will pick it up very soon, and serviceable unknowns. If Doumit is unavailible, get Chris Iannetta, Rockies rookie C, very good as of late. If you leave it as it is, then you need help at 1B, 3B, OF, and RP, because Rivera will cool off and Hoffman isn't good enough anymore. Good luck!

Now, you being a stripper undermines you because although it is a great money fix it is not a good upbringing for your children. You need to prioritize them and want them to learn whats is right and wrong and help them to achieve better than you. I think you shoudl then prioritize your education. Engine change from a 302 to a 5.0 efi?

my son put in a 5.0 engine in his 69 mustang. he had a old carb. 302. now the 5.0 motor wont idle smooth. it was a speed denseity set up, now a m airflow system. the computer is from a 1991 mustang complete with all the engine harness. the cam is pretty much stock . no big lift or duration.he used the mas air flow from the oem motor (1991) . it seems the motor runs real rich and sounds like it has a 600 lift cam in it at idle, you can smell it. he also used the cats and o 2 senors. his car runs good,other wise meaning he can get rubber in all 4 gears !! there are also no codes being logged . thanks for some info about what to do next. navy dad

Honestly I dislike and distrust alot of psychiatrists however you should see one to find comfort for your anxiety and past relationship dysfunction. Ask your physician to recommend one and seek out a proper fit if the first one doesn't seem quite right. What you lived was beyond dysfunction...it was sick, controlling and manipulating beyond what most people deal with in a lifetime. Seek help so that you can come to terms with how you allowed yourself to be treated and avoid this type of behavior in the future. Life is too short to deal with this internally so find someone who you can relate with to talk to to ease your mind from it and perhaps give you medication to alleviate your anxiety. Good luck

in 2005 lost Job , Lost family member, Lost mind, lost house, everything went from bad to worse. Huge medical bills etc. In 2007 my very small bank was levied. Even though the amt was only 1200.00 it was every thing. The only way to get it released was to file BK. We were never even served. People at the old address got the papers. You Know no signature Or ID required to be served. Filed a chapter 13 to reorginize and pay the debt back. The attorney ured us the pmt. would be about 600.00 per month. Barely getting back on our feet it was a stretch but we could make that pmt. Well there was a contestment filed. They refused to allow all our house pmt. we are renting with option to purchase. They wanted 1600.00 per month. which was impossible. So we withdrew the case. It was dismissed. But continues to show as a filed BK dismisal. 7 yrs at least of this reporting. This seems to add insult to injury. Is there some loop hole or fair credit reporting law to prevent this from being reported? We are trying very hard still to recoup but now matters are worse. We are building a business and have it basically growing however waiting 30 days to get paid is killing us. With no credit to fund us.

Here's the thing, If you do these two exercises all the time you'll get what's called muscle memory. You may not gain a lot of size or definition (you almost certainly will gain some) but you may come out of it being able to do 300 push-ups and sit ups instead, which is a pretty good result. I'd recommend mixing it up by doing different kinds of push-ups, pull ups, sit ups, and then some crunches (lifting your neck and shoulders barely off the floor while in the sit-up position) and then doing lots of stretches for your upper body...that will definitely give you a lot more definition. Stretch every morning and every night on top of your routine and I can almost guarantee you'll up your tone/definition results by 50% at minimum.

Speaking subjectively here, folks. I'm not a writer, I don't write for leisure as some of you evidently do. I only write when I'm required to do so. My limited imagination wouldn't allow it. Writer's block and I, we've become close friends over the years. So, personally speaking, I believe I'm a terrible writer, despite outside influences. What confounds me is the fact that many of my peers seem to have convinced themselves that they're a poor man's Charles ens when most of them can't even write in the simple yet magnetizing style of J.D. Can a video card help lack of RAM?

My dad has a 2 ghz processor with 1 gb of ram. He runs a lot of programs and it is over loading his ram. The problem is, his computers max amount of ram is only 1GB his computer does not support more than this. So if he gets a new video card maybe an nvidia 256mb ddr or something along those lines will it add more ram in some sense? Could this help solve the problem or will it not make a difference because he only has 1gb? Again his computer cannot upgrade he is stuck with 1 gb of ram. Will a video card help? He only has a 64 MB video card and the reason I believe it will help is because on my computer I can view how much of my VRAM is being used and even when not using anything too graphic demanding just browsing the net it will jump from 60-120MB or 140MB of VRAM being used... So I figure that little bit of extra video ram (VRAM) could help him because once all of the vram is used it will start using your system ram for video which causes there to be less RAM for other processes slowing down the computer. i have lived in a village all my life and although it often was boring and hard to get around (had to rely on my parents), now I can drive i really like it..you get the peace and quiet of the country (and i like goin for walks/runs in it), and can drive to see people in town and so on. Too much information! I felt like I needed to take notes! You gotta spread it out or condense some of the tragedies or something. One other point and it is just picky me, but one writing teacher pointed this out to me many years ago and so it always sticks out when I see it in someone elses work. Never use the same word twice in a sentence. You have lead up there a couple of times in one. And as always LESS is more. Go over your beginning sentences and be ruthless. A lot of those facts you can find a way to shove in later with other devices like finding old papers or talking to neighbors. I am uming that you are leading up to someone moving in there again? On the plus side I have to say this, of all the writing I have gone thru since I have found this site you seem the most prepared for your story. One rule of thumb is that if someone asks you what brand of toothpaste your hero uses you can tell them. You may never have to use that fact but you need to know your people and places that well. Just keep working on it, you should do great.

Okay.. so my friend is a super-heavy sleeper. Are White wide receivers making a comeback in the 21st century??

Growing up as a kid 10, 15 years ago there were virtually no white wide receivers outside of Ed McCaffrey (sp?) worth a damn (maybe Ricky Proehl). I never saw one on tv until McCaffrey and the Broncos got good again (mid to late 90s). Within the past 5 years however, White WR's have made a huge comeback. Drew Bennett, Wes Welker, Mike Furrey, Brandon Stokley, Kevin Curtis, Brian Finnerman(sp?), Matt Jones, Ricky Proehl (ret.), Wayne Chrebet (ret.) have all been starters and performed really well (some better than others). Not to mention on the college level there have been some GREAT white WR's. Toddler discipline when safety is concerned?

I have an almost 2 year old who I stay home with. She is considered advanced for her age (knows alphabet, can count to 5 in English and Spanish, uses pronouns correctly etc) I also have a small horse farm. She seems to be an animal lover and enjoys going out with me to feed and take care of the animals. However, I am at times afraid for her safety and she just doesn't listen to me about 50% of the time. Ex. she likes to chase our ducks. The 2 males don't care they waddle away but the female I fear will rip her a new one. She also tries to go in with the horses, which I don't allow but I must physically restrain her or she just will no matter what I say. If she does something she's not supposed to do I give her the option of me carrying her for awhile or she can hold my hand. If she continues to do what I tell her not to do we go inside for awhile. Anyone, especially something with experience having a toddler around different animals have any suggestions.

Why did drinking make me so ill?

It is quite strange you got ill after just 3 drinks! If you were drinking on an empty stomach this could have made you ill, especially with all the cream in the pina coladas, just the thought of it makes me want to puke 'I hate creamy alcoholic drinks', Mixing your drinks is a bad idea as well, try always sticking to the same drink all night. I'm looking for an inexpensive, but cool venue for a wedding in Austin, Texas. We live out of state so are trying to find as much info as possible online. I've found a lot of great choices, like Zilker Clubhouse. I think that's a great option, but would also like to consider renting a large house or private property to accommodate the ceremony and reception. What is the best PCB designing tool?

Man im a newbie as well. But from what i can do at home its really not hard. There's free software called "ExpressPCB". Its an extremely simple program that allows you to just draw circuits one line at a time. i found it very useful when it came to designing even complex circuits. then you print it out on glossy paper, turn it over, iron it onto the copper face WITHOUT steam and it should leave a faint trace of your circuit. then you get one of those PCB marker pens and trace over the lines. i only did this about 3 weeks ago and i didnt pay more than $15 for two blank PCB's, the marker, a large tub of Ammonium Persulfate and all the IC's i needed. so i would recommend it seeing as how i dont know much about other PCB software, either way expresspcb is free
