Can someone please give me some information about public transportation in Orlando, FL?

I'm goingto attend Valencia Community College, then I want to go to UCF these colleges are both located off of University BLVD. I am looking at some roommate wanted ADS, but also need some type of public transportation to and from school/work can someone please give me some information about the area, and also some helpful tips when moving there (what TO DO & NOT TO DO)?
