Is the job market in Washington state for sonographers flooded?

I am interested in pursuing a career as a diagnostic medical sonographer and I want to be able to find full-time work within 6 months of graduating from an ociate's degree program, however, I constantly see "per diem" shifts that are open but very few part-time or full-time shifts posted online. Are the job listings typically not posted online for sonographers or is the rarity of a job opening pretty typical for this state? I do not want to move somewhere else so it is crucial that I know this information before I get myself into something that I regret later on. Any advice/info would be appreciated. I already checked the bls website and all that, but I just want to know about Washington state specifically. Thanks!
