Why are the republicans complaining about the moderator?

for the debate, when they didn't even properly vet their own VP pick...its starting to get insanly pathetic at the attempts to "protect" Palin...Just today they found out about book...oh, please..they are smarter than that...they are just laying the groundwork for excuses when she loses...Why the complaints? Dems AND repub alike say Gwen will be fair
